Coming Soon – First Year Package
This week has kept me a little busier than most at work. I’m eager for Friday to be over.
I’m planning to launch one more session package before the year is over focused on all of those babies on the way. So stay tuned.
Here’s a photo of Maddie for your day.
When the World was Written by Sammy Davis Jr.
It’s too bad we grow out of the age when the world looks like a Sammy Davis Jr. song, when even foam noodles are fair game to gnaw on.
Oh, who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream
Separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream
The Candy Man, oh the Candy Man can
The Candy Man can ’cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good
Birthday Antics, by Debo
This is what happens when you goof off in my photos. You end up on my blog, Sucka!
Birthday Bash!
Since Julie’s new sweet camera hadn’t arrived yet, she asked me to take a few photos of Eva’s birthday party at the DeKocks. We had a great time.
Then she took off all her clothes and jumped in the pool.

Her dad got tackled into the pool (fully clothed) by Kyle, and then posed for a few “bring-on-the-sexy” shots.

The rest of the party was pretty routine.

Eva gave a speech about the ongoing California budget stalemate.
And then buckled under the pressure of entertaining.

Eva’s friends were serious party animals.

Next, I’ll show you how excited Debo gets during gift-opening time.
Happy Birthday, Eva – 2
Here are a few more photos of Eva for today.
This is one of my favorites of the day.
Happy First Birthday, Eva!
There are people in all of our lives that we’re really thankful for. And then there are some people that we think we could probably do without. These guys definitely fall squarely in the awesome camp for Jill and me. It’s amazingly fun to have daughters the same age, so photographing Eva is a joy.
Eva was great to photograph. Her dad, on the other hand, was a little bit squirrely.
Jacob’s 1 year – Finale
It was obvious that Jacob really enjoyed playing in the grass. It was difficult to get photos of him while trying to prevent him from mulching the lawn.
We were taking our last photos by the fountain at the Lincoln Shrine when Jacob started coughing. Alan quickly realized that he was choking on something, but he couldn’t see what he had in his mouth. And Jacob seemed reluctant to allow his dad to swish his finger around in his mouth at will.
Finally, Jacob let out a big series of sneezes and out came a long strand of grass… out his nose that is. I could tell that Alan was a tad horrified and disgusted. Patty, of course, thought the whole thing was hilarious.
Thanks, guys! Happy Birthday, Jacob!
